Starter Lok Consultation

If you’re interested in starting a lok journey with Lok Lovin’ please read the requirements below.

  • If your hair is not appropriately prepared for your appointment, you will have to reschedule for another day.

  • Consultations typically last 1-1.5 hours and the cost is $30. This cost must be prepaid in order to secure your appointment.

  • You must arrive with your hair freshly shampooed. Clean and dry.

  • Your hair must be completely detangled. Please part your hair into 4-10 sections, comb/brush each section thoroughly (from tip to root) and plait each section after detangling it so that it can remain detangled.

  • Your hair must be completely free of all product and oil so that a proper assessment of your hair in its natural state can be made. Absolutely nothing on your hair.

  • You will receive 4-8 Test Loks.

  • You will be given a price point that is good for 30 days. The price point will be based on several factors such as your hair length, density, and size of head.

  • No additional guests will be permitted to attend your appointment.

  • Of course, your questions will be welcomed and encouraged, so bring that list!!

All Lok Lovin’ Starter Lok Packages are 3-part packages, and the cost is determined at Consultation. 

 What does each package include?

  • Come ask questions and get some test loks! You’ll also receive a price point that is good from 30 days

  • Starting your loks can take 1 or 2 days to complete depending on the type of loks desired and the condition of your hair. You’ll have a better idea on how long this will take at Consultation.

  • Within 4-5 weeks of starting your Lok Journey, you will come for your first Retightening. This appointment is included in your Establishment price and will be of no cost to you on the day of the appointment.

Lok Maintenance and Treatment

It’s so important to have your loks routinely maintained! Most Lok Lovin’ clients come through every 5 to 8 weeks to be sure their loks stay happy and healthy. Each maintenance appointment includes a complimentary, pre-booked shampoo for the ultimate reset.

  • Add essential oils to any of your treatments for $5.

  • All services are by appointment only.
